The "Godfather" of Wearables: Alex "Sandy" Pentland as the Champion of "Looking at People" but it All Began with Beavers in the Wild

Alex "Sandy" Pentland is viewed by many to be the "godfather" of wearables,
a once dropout truck driver
who inter alia ultimately graduated from the University of Michigan,
got his Ph.D. from MIT
and has been a visiting professor at Stanford.

Maria Konnikova has the story at The Verge
in Meet the godfather of wearables,
a champion of "looking at people",
but it all started with beavers in the wild,
really.
